Tablets grab share of PC market
[info]cuvitang
viagra, smartphones, and other mobile devices are making serious inroads into the business computing marketplace. cialis in particular are seen as giving employees choice and flexibility in doing most of the simpler types of business computing. A recent bulletin from research firm Gartner, suggests that business leaders are open to the potential competitive advantage that mobile applications can bring.  One result is their prediction that tablets are headed for the business enterprise "in a big way."

This potential is also behind the recent reduction in analysts' predictions of worldwide PC market growth from 9% to 4%.  With Microsoft at least a year away from a tablet OS, and the larger PC manufacturer's having difficulty producing tablets competitive with the iPad, this gives Apple a head start on the future "business mobile" market..

This popular resource continues to offer step-by-step guidance on how to evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic disorders. The 4th Edition of this bestseller has been completely revised and reorganized to present a more up-to-date approach to the field, with less emphasis on traditional hospital-based practice. It uses the APGO/CREOG curriculum objectives as a framework, with a special emphasis on women's health issues.

Pick 4 at Northfield Park

There is another $10,000 guaranteed Pick 4 pool tonight at Northfield Park (races 8-11) and the Amateur Handicapper is aching, just aching, to hit his first Pick 4 of the season. Last week we had a less than stellar outing at Cal Expo. May the gods favor us tonight.

The eighth race is a wide open pace for non-winners of $250 per start in 2011 and non-winners of $1,250 in the last five races. The Amateur Handicapper understands that "non-winners" is a synonym in the program for "wide open"!

The field is loaded with Northfield regulars, including the three favorites in the 1-3 post positions: Take the Long Way (5-2), Native Fate (9-2) and JL Nate the Great (7-2). I'm not wedded to any of the three. Take the Long Way is probably the best of the lot based on recent performance including a win on March 28 and an even more impressive third on April 2 that included a :28.3 closing quarter.

But it's a couple of longer shots that have piqued my curiosity: Native Flower (4-1) is much the best horse here if she can avoid breaking as she did her previous two times out. She's come way down in class (from the $10,000 range to $2,400) but has faltered of late on good/sloppy tracks. Is this the race she demonstrates why trainer Tye Loy had her racing in such relatively rich company at the Meadows earlier this year?

Nelly Hanover (8-1) has her work cut out for her coming from the seventh post. She will be pacing for the first time ever on Lasix in her second outing of 2011. (She ended 2010 on a high note, winning at the Meadows in November in a lifetime best 1:58 flat.)

In the eighth race: 1, 5 and 7.

In the ninth race, Ron Jeremy (7-2) should be stiff competition (I couldn't resist) for Goin Home Ray (5-2) though as a 10YO Ron may need to race for the 1st time on cheap cialis to have a chance. But Goin Home Ray should have the race in hand based on the past month or so of results. (All sub-2-minute miles.) The rest of the field leaves the Amateur Handicapper cold with the exception of Shark Lover, who will leave from the unenviable 8 post but has won from there (on Jan. 26) and has two decent efforts leading into the race.

In the ninth race: 2 and 8.

Shannons Boy Scout is the class of the tenth race, coming off consecutive wins in impressive fashion including a lifetime best of 1:57 in his last. Both wins came from tough posts (6, 7) and here he's better placed in the 4 hole. Fancy Schmansy (4-1) will surely be bid down and should be. After all, the 12YO has a pair of 1:56 races (a win and a show) in his last two races and six finishes in the money in seven tries. Both favorites are coming up slightly in class this trip.

In the tenth: 5.

After being a house a-fire in February (four wins and second in five tries) Legacy Chip (7-2) has cooled considerably of late though against tougher competition. Seaworthy (4-1) is interesting in the 9 hole but has been lightly raced for the better part of a year now. Legacy Chip is the only horse in the field to win this year at Northfield in under 2:00.

Eleventh race: 1 and 9.

So, our Pick Four looks like this: 147/28/5/19 for a total of $12.

Good luck!
